In Winter 2024, SupplyHer collaborated with Stanford’s junior student council, RISE, to host a collaborative project. This series of community service events was run alongside RAs during on calls, encouraging students to take on fun activities to give back to the community and have an opportunity to perform service. Students at various dorms across campus had the opportunity to assemble toiletry kits as a way to get more involved with community service. Approximately $2000 worth of toiletries were donated to LifeMoves, Sacred Heart, and the Ronald McDonald House.

Haas Spring into Service:

In Spring 2023, we worked collaboratively with the Haas Center to motivate students to participate in community service as well as give back to the community. Through this event, we worked with students interested in gaining experience in community service to assemble menstrual and hygiene kits. We donated lotions, body washes, combs, toothpaste, and toothbrushes to AACI’s Asian Women’s Home, and 600+ pads, 600+ tampons, and 700+ wipes to CORA, a domestic violence shelter in San Mateo. Total donation worth was over $480.

Haas Center Study Night:

Before finals week in Spring 2023, we collaborated with the Haas center in order to organize a coffee break + community service activity for students preparing for exams. We donated tampons and pads to LifeMoves, an organization that manages interim housing  in the Bay Area, worth approximately $250.

FloraFloraCo Collaboration:

Stanford SupplyHer collaborated with FloraFloraCo, a small business that creates sustainable hygiene products and received over 110 soap and conditioner bars. We distributed these bars, worth approximately a total of $1760, to Stanford’s first generation/low income community during FLI week.

Sustainable Period Product Awareness Event

Stanford SupplyHer hosted a sustainable period product kit assembly event and donated $1000 worth of sustainable period supplies like period discs and reusable pads to the Carribean Coalition for Maternal and Reproductive Health.
